GALLERY 1 Project Name: Extreme Home Makeover
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
The King family home was hazardous on the inside and outside, structurally and environmentally. They had a serious mold problem that was cause for concern for their youngest daughter, Laila. The mold and structural concerns posed a threat to the existence of the King's only source of income, Step by Step Home Daycare, which would have had to shut down as a result.
GALLERY 2 Project Name: Flood of Cedar Rapids
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Our SVM Catastrophe team has quickly responded to many catastrophic events. "...We never thought we would experience anything as bad as the damage to the U.S. Pentagon after the 9/11 terrorist attack, that is until the flood in Cedar Rapids...."
As was the case in the mitigation of the Pentagon, the Cedar Rapids project had a sense of giving back. "...The opportunity to be able to help those that were in such great need and knowing that we could restore their businesses back to life brought us a great sense of duty and honor..."
GALLERY 3 Project Name: Special Events Photography Studio
Location: Fayetteville, GA
A photography studio in the Fayetteville Courthouse Square caught fire due to a printer malfunction. The fire then quickly spread to the 3 nearby stores. ServiceMaster's rapid reponse lowered the amount of content damage and minimized business interruption so they could open their doors sooner.We restored all of the photography equipment, the customized frames, and the canvas prints and photographs.
GALLERY 4 Project Name: Headstart School
Location: Carrollton, GA We were called out on a Sunday after three kids broke in and vandalized the entire school. The damages involved gallons of paint, food, feces, urine, blood, broken doors, broken glass all over the halls and damaged classrooms, students' and teachers' belongings. We were able to start the cleaning that Sunday afternoon. We had the school cleaned up and the children back in school immediately. We also involved the community insurance agents in donating money to the school and raised almost $1,000 to help with replacing the damaged backpacks and supplies.
GALLERY 5 Project Name: Target Superstore
Location: Newnan, GA
A fire devastated a local Target store during the rush Christmas season. Soot was everywhere and the water the fire department used to stop the fire damaged the store even further. Another source told Target that they were looking at 6 weeks for repairs. But ServiceMaster was called and worked around the clock, opening Target in 23 hours! Our ability and diligent speed saved this store hundreds of thousands of dollars– a ServiceMaster Promise.
GALLERY 6 Project Name: TDK
Location: Peachtree City, GA Fire damaged this TDK Warehouse and left soot and water on the warehouse floors and high warehouse ceilings. We were able to mitigate immediately without any business interruption.
